Khaberni - The artist Diaa Abdel Khaleq broke down crying, revealing the loss of his father, mother, and brother within one year, confirming that his wife's support was the reason he overcame the ordeal.

Artist Diaa Abdel Khaleq revealed the details of a difficult period he went through after the deaths of his father, mother, and brother within one year, during a TV interview with his wife, director Shaimaa Shaout, highlighting the role of faith and family in regaining his balance.

Diaa Abdel Khaleq, during a television interview accompanied by his wife, director Shaimaa Shaout, clarified that the deaths of his father, mother, and brother within one year were a huge shock to him, emphasizing that the loss of loved ones leaves a lasting impact on a person's psyche.

Diaa Abdel Khaleq described that period as difficult, emphasizing that faith was the key factor in his resilience and ability to get through the ordeal, saying, "Thank God, they are in a better place, may God have mercy on them and forgive them"; he mentioned that they had seen his daughter "Carmen" after her birth and witnessed his success for real before they passed away.

He noted that his wife was his support in overcoming this ordeal, stressing that family is a crucial factor in regaining balance after tough times and resuming life anew. On her part, Diaa Abdel Khaleq's wife spoke about this period, saying, "It was a tough time for both of us; since his father and mother were like my own parents to whom I would turn for everything, for they were very kind."

At the same time, director Shaimaa Shaout revealed the story of her marriage to Diaa Abdel Khaleq, noting that she was impressed by his talent during his participation in the movie "Tito" with actors Ahmed El Sakka and Hanan Turk. She explained that their first meeting was by chance at the theater of actor Adel Imam, before things quickly evolved, and they agreed to marry within one month.

About how they met, Shaimaa Shaout recounted a humorous story, when Diaa asked her if she was engaged, and she denied; when he proposed "engagement" to her, she refused, but the Egyptian artist clarified he was not thinking about marriage, her challenging response was, "If I want to marry you, I will marry you."

Diaa Abdel Khaleq touched upon the financial difficulties he faced at the beginning of their marriage, indicating that he did not have enough to pay for "the officiant" on the night of the marriage contract. He praised his wife’s strong stance when he proposed; initially, her brother intervened asking about "the dowry and the bride price," however, she firmly replied, "Are you marrying him or am I?", indicating that she decided to stick with him and accept the marriage despite the tough circumstances.

He added that they wanted to marry quickly due to their artistic commitments; while he was preparing to participate in a film and a play, Shaimaa was busy with a number of projects. He recalled memories of the marriage, noting that the breakthrough came unexpectedly when he received a call from a production company congratulating him on the engagement, and they offered to pay him his full contract amount upfront, though he requested only half of it, considering it "the bride’s fortune", leading to their immediate marriage.
