Unprecedented Achievement Recorded for Jordan

Khaberni - The Faculty of Law team at the Applied Science Private University achieved a significant presence on the international stage, reaching the round of 16 in the Price Media Law Moot Court Competition 2026, which is organized by the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, securing the 13th position globally, thus recording a Jordanian precedent as the first team to reach this advanced stage in one of the most prestigious law competitions globally, which the Applied team qualified for after winning the regional round held in Cairo.

This achievement came after a competitive journey, during which the team displayed an outstanding performance that enabled them to achieve a series of victories over teams from prestigious international universities, including Ain Shams University in Egypt, and University of Fort Hare from South Africa, before securing their qualification by outscoring the team from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, reserving their place among the top 16 teams globally, alongside teams from England, America, Canada, Egypt, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Romania, Serbia, and Austria, securing 13th place worldwide.

Representing Jordan in this competition was a team from the university: Abdullah Suror, Asal Al-Jergawi, Layan Fouda, and Slaf Al-Asad, who reflected a high academic level and a professional performance that honors both the university and Jordan alike.

This achievement confirms the advanced status that the Applied Science Private University enjoys in the field of legal education and its role in preparing competencies capable of competing with confidence and proficiency at international forums.
