Trump Ready to Meet with Senior Iranian Leaders and the US Negotiating Delegation on Its Way to Pakistan

Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that Iran relinquishing nuclear weapons represents a non-negotiable demand, emphasizing that this condition is central to any upcoming talks between the two sides.

The New York Post quoted Trump as saying he is ready to meet with senior Iranian leaders if there is a breakthrough in the negotiation process, expressing his hope that no party would resort to "tricks" during this sensitive phase.

He added that a U.S. negotiating team including prominent individuals, among them his deputy J.D. Vance and special envoy Witkoff and Kushner, is on its way to Islamabad, and is expected to arrive within hours.

Trump pointed out that the anticipated talks with Iran will primarily focus on its nuclear program, affirming that his country considers preventing Tehran from possessing this type of weapons a priority that cannot be compromised.
