Khaberni - Jordan Post Company warns of text messages or emails bearing the Jordan Post logo reaching their phones, claiming to be issued by the company and reporting missing delivery information or inability to deliver the package due to missing address or a request for information modification.
The company confirmed in a statement on Sunday that Jordan Post does not send such messages and does not request any financial information through text messages, emails, and payments are only made through e-bills or upon delivery.
The company explained that it has filed complaints with the Cybercrime Unit at the Public Security Directorate to identify the sources of the incoming messages, whether from inside or outside Jordan, and to take the necessary legal actions.
Jordan Post emphasizes the necessity to ignore and delete any message of this kind, and not to deal with it in any way, and to verify the authenticity of the messages by contacting the Jordan Post customer service at "062005777".
