Khaberni - The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, expressed his gratitude to the Sunni scholars and students of religious sciences in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, for their sympathy and support, and for their pledge of allegiance.
In Mojtaba Khamenei’s message, he stated, "I would like to thank you deeply for your kind feelings and condolences on the martyrdom of the esteemed leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and express my deep gratitude for your gentle words on this matter."
The representative of the Islamic Revolution’s leader in Hormozgan Province and the Friday Imam of Bandar Abbas, while announcing the receipt of this message, emphasized the high status of unity within the Muslim community, and said: "The message of the leader of the Islamic Revolution is of great value, issued to enhance national cohesion, reinforce sympathy, and deepen relationships among the various spectra of the Muslim community."
He referred to "the declarations of Sunni scholars and clerics in this province condemning the terrorist operations by the Zionist entity and America in assassinating the martyred leader of the Muslim community, Imam Khamenei, and a number of prominent military leaders, as well as their declaration of allegiance to his righteous successor, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, considering this action as evidence of their awareness, loyalty, and commitment to the values of the Islamic Revolution."
He praised the written response from the leader of the revolution to the Sunni scholars in Hormozgan, considering it a significant affirmation of the role that elites and religious scholars play in the society for the upliftment in the path of dignity and empowerment, and in achieving national goals.
