Khaberni - Media reports have revealed that Argentine star Lionel Messi has continued to enhance his real estate investments in the upscale area of Castelldefels near Barcelona, through a new project that includes the development of three residences aimed for his children, representing a new step reflecting the expansion of his activities beyond the green field.
The account El Bernabéu on X has mentioned that the project is based on converting land into three buildable plots in the mountainous area of Bellamar, one of the most distinguished areas in the surroundings of Barcelona, where many prominent sports figures reside, and which features a private residential character combining tranquility and a sea view.
According to the project details, which received preliminary approvals from the municipality of Castelldefels, the plan includes developing a comprehensive infrastructure for the area, including water, electricity, sewage, and telecommunications networks, in addition to arranging new roads connecting the residential plots, while preserving the natural character of the site.
It was explained: "The investment value exceeds 600,000 euros, which will be borne by the project owners, and the plan includes dividing land with an area of about 8,000 square meters into three independent residential units, expected to be built with homes designated for Messi's children."
He continued: "The project stipulates allocating a part of the land for public facilities for free, to be transformed into a green area planted with Mediterranean trees, as part of preserving the surrounding environment and enhancing the aesthetic character of the area."
He added: "Messi has a long-standing relationship with the Castelldefels area, where he has owned a large villa for years that exceeds 10,000 square meters, featuring private sports and recreational facilities, making him one of the most prominent residents in this upscale area."
