Khaberni - Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan received, in the Prime Minister's residence today, Monday, Finnish President Dr. Alexander Stub, where the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and expanding the horizons of cooperation between them was emphasized, especially in the fields of economics, investment, education, and technology.
The Prime Minister referred to Jordan's keenness on developing its relations with Finland bilaterally and within the framework of the European Union, pointing out that the Jordanian-European investment conference, which will be held in Jordan during the last quarter of the current year, represents an important opportunity to enhance economic and trade cooperation with EU countries.
In turn, the Finnish President expressed his appreciation for Jordan's role in the region, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, noting at the same time that Jordan has significant areas of cooperation that Finland looks forward to developing and investing in.
The meeting also addressed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Samirat, the non-resident Jordanian Ambassador to Finland Faiz Khoury, and the non-resident Finnish Ambassador to Jordan Anni Miskannen.
