Khaberni - The Jordanian Journalists' Syndicate honored Dr. Ibrahim Al-Khasawneh, a faculty member at the College of Media at Petra University, in recognition of his contributions to the journalism service for more than twenty-five years. The head of the syndicate, Tareq Al-Momani, presented Al-Khasawneh with a certificate of appreciation during a ceremony honoring a group of pioneer journalists, appreciating their role in delivering the national media message responsibly.
Al-Khasawneh affirmed that honoring the "Knights of the Word" embodies the honorable role of journalists in performing their professional duty with all honesty, describing the syndicate as "the house of expertise" and a school in professional work. He added: "We will remain committed to our words and actions, for this is the firm capital that strengthens us to bear the responsibility of the word and fulfill our responsibility towards the nation."
This tribute reflects the pool of academic and media expertise housed in the College of Media at Petra University, and its role in enriching the Jordanian journalistic scene with quality expertise. The university also commits to supporting the presence of its faculty members in union and national fora, in recognition of their extended professional careers and their impact in developing the media and communications sector.
