American Aircraft Carrier USS Ford Returns to the Middle East

Khaberni - CBS News reported, quoting an American official, that the American aircraft carrier "USS Gerald Ford" has returned to the Middle East accompanied by two destroyers.
CBS stated that the aircraft carrier passed through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea accompanied by destroyers.
Bloomberg cited CBS saying, "Ford joined another aircraft carrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, operating in the North Arabian Sea."

It is worth mentioning that the aircraft carrier "USS Gerald Ford" had to suspend combat operations due to a fire outbreak in the main laundry area onboard in March.

This comes at a time when the United States is imposing a naval blockade on Iranian ports, where the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that the recent American movements, violating the ceasefire and threatening the coasts, constitute a blatant violation and an irresponsible escalation.

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that representatives of the United States will head to the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Monday to continue negotiations with Iran.

Meanwhile, Pakistan is intensifying its diplomatic efforts to save the negotiation track, and the talks between Washington and Tehran are expected to take place on Tuesday in Islamabad and may extend to Wednesday. Iran has not yet decided to send a delegation to participate in the second round of negotiations.
