Khaberni - The Referees' Department at the Football Federation acknowledged the incorrectness of the refereeing team's decision in the match between Al-Faisaly and Al-Hussein Irbid, postponed from the fifteenth round of the Professional Football League, which was held last Sunday and ended with Al-Faisaly winning by a clean goal.
The refereeing expert in the Referees' Department, Ismail Al-Hafi, stated on the program "Al-Qarar" on "YouTube", that the goal was scored from an offside situation closely involving the Al-Faisaly defender Muhand Khair Allah who scored the sole goal of the match.
It is noted that a Syrian referee team led by the referee Firas Al-Taweel officiated the match, at the request of Al-Hussein Irbid club.
Al-Hafi explained that the decision not to count a goal for Al-Faisaly in the 73rd minute was correct.
Al-Hafi also discussed other refereeing situations in the matches of Al-Wehdat against Shabab Al-Ordon, and Al-Faisaly against Al-Salt.
