Headphones and Qurans by a reader and white canes for the elderly and the disabled in the two holy mosques

Khaberni - The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia has enhanced its services for the elderly and people with disabilities, including services: providing sign language interpreters for speeches and scientific lessons, alongside headphones designed for the hearing impaired, and Qur'ans equipped with a reading pen to facilitate recitation, in addition to tools prepared for special needs individuals to help facilitate their movement and performance of rituals.

In the context of services for the blind, the Presidency provided Qur'ans written in «Braille», in addition to making white canes available to facilitate movement within the corridors and courtyards of the Grand Mosque, enhancing their independence and ensuring their safety during movement. The Presidency has identified prepared prayer locations for the elderly and people with disabilities in several strategic locations inside the Grand Mosque, with specific sites designated for men, and as for the prayer areas designated for women, other locations have been prepared.
