Khaberni - The health condition of the Egyptian artist Hany Shaker has seen successive developments, most notably suffering from respiratory failure; which led his official social media page to ask his fans to pray for him.
The page said: "Oh God, the Healer, the One who cures, heal Hany Shaker a recovery that leaves no illness behind, and remove all pain from him, replace his illness with health and well-being, and protect him with your ever-watchful eye."
Engineer Ahmed Issa, a close friend of the prominent singing star, said that the artist was in good condition before being struck by the "sudden relapse" that occurred while he was being treated at "Foch" hospital in Paris.
He added in an intervention with the media personality Amr Adib on the show "Al Hekaya" that Shaker had performed the Fajr prayer and asked for a cup of water in the presence of "Mamdouh", the husband of his late daughter "Dina", before the relapse that was described as "medically unexplained" occurred.
Statements by the prominent Egyptian writer and media personality Adel Hamouda about the health condition of Hany Shaker topped the search engine "Google" and social media platforms, where he disclosed details that caused widespread astonishment.
Hamouda confirmed that his heart stopped for 8 minutes after undergoing a critical colon surgery in Egypt weeks earlier, noting that he came back to life afterwards, a development described as a "heavenly miracle", where everyone believed he had permanently passed.
In a video clip on his "YouTube" channel, Hamouda pointed out that this information was obtained from the medical report of the well-known singing star.
He added: "This information, published for the first time in the media, may be considered the most accurate concerning Shaker's condition and the health crisis he is going through."
