The developments in the crisis between Ahmed Maki and his former business manager continue, following the complaint he filed against her, accusing her of unlawfully appropriating large sums of money, in a case that is still under investigation.
The business manager revealed to local media that her relationship with Maki lasted for many years of cooperation and success, confirming there were no personal disputes between them, describing him as «her son and younger brother».
On the other hand, Maki's defense clarified that the accused took advantage of the general power of attorney granted to her, withdrawing amounts totaling about 66.5 million Egyptian pounds without providing documents to explain their expenditure, pointing to the submission of all official evidence to the investigative authorities.
Despite the controversy surrounding the case, artist Ahmed Maki remains silent so far, without making any statements regarding the fate of the dispute or the possibility of reconciliation, preferring to leave the matter for the judicial authorities to decide.
