Khaberni - King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain directed today (Sunday) the immediate start of procedures for stripping Bahraini nationality from those tempted to betray the nation, and to consider who deserves Bahraini citizenship and who does not.
According to what was published by the official Bahraini News Agency, the king received a number of senior officials, during which a number of topics related to national affairs were discussed.
The official agency quoted the king saying: "We are successfully overcoming the difficulties of this phase by the grace of God Almighty, and the competence of our defense, security, and civil defense forces, and the solidarity of citizens with the sincere fraternity that unites them, and through the serious work represented in the disciplined management of our wise government to provide all requirements, and by dealing professionally with various emergencies."
The Bahraini king added: "The state is determinedly addressing the repercussions of war, pointing out that the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, during the coming phase, is tasked with implementing comprehensive and decisive measures, by establishing appropriate programs to address any deficiencies that have been identified, whether defensively or economically, in addition to the immediate start of actions required against those tempted to betray the nation or undermine its security and stability, and to consider who deserves Bahraini citizenship and who does not, so that necessary actions can be applied. This situation remains delicate, and we must rely on what our national conscience dictates, from the standpoint that the nation is a great trust, honorable and customary, and there is no toleration in compromising or failing its duties."
