The Health and Safety Committee closes a noncompliant site for the livestock market in Jerash

Khaberni - The health and safety squads in Jerash governorate today inspected a site established by a number of livestock owners near the area (Thaghrat Asfour) with the intention of establishing a livestock market without obtaining the official approvals from the relevant authorities.
During the field inspection, it was found that the site does not comply with technical and environmental conditions, in addition to not meeting the requirements of public safety and traffic safety, constituting a clear violation of the regulations and instructions in force.
Therefore, it was decided to immediately close the site until its legal status and obtaining the necessary licenses and approvals from the relevant bodies are rectified, in addition to finding an alternative site that conforms to the nature of the activity and achieves the conditions of public safety.
Livestock owners were also directed to review the competent authorities and complete the legal procedures before starting any activity or opening any market and to comply with the related regulatory systems, noting that if the site is reopened or operated without completing the legal requirements, the violators will be subject to accountability and necessary legal actions will be taken.
