Khaberni - Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted the “Saudi Students Gathering” event, which was held under the patronage of the Saudi Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Royal Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, with official and academic attendance that reflects the deep fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.
The event was attended by the Acting Director of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Jordan, Professor Dr. Mohammad bin Khazim Al-Shammari, alongside the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, and a number of academic and social figures, as well as a large gathering of Saudi students studying at the university.
His Highness the Ambassador, in his speech, emphasized the commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to follow up on the affairs of its students studying abroad, and to provide a supportive environment for them that contributes to achieving academic excellence and enhancing their national affiliation, praising the role played by Jordanian universities, and prominently Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in hosting Saudi students and providing an exceptional educational environment for them.
On his part, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan welcomed the attendees, affirming the university’s pride in hosting this elite group of Saudi students and its continuous commitment to providing various forms of academic and social support to them, which enhances their university experience and fulfills their future aspirations.
In turn, Professor Dr. Mohammad bin Khazim Al-Shammari highlighted the importance of such meetings in enhancing direct communication with the students, listening to their needs, and building bridges of trust and cooperation, which positively reflects on their academic journey.
The event included interactive moments where Saudi students expressed their happiness with this initiative that enhances the spirit of affinity and belonging and provides a platform for meeting and exchanging experiences, appreciating the university's ongoing efforts and attention to international students.
