Prisoners Club More than 23000 Arrest Cases in the West Bank Since the Aggression on Gaza

Khaberni - The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club said on Sunday that more than 23,000 arrest cases in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, were recorded following the genocide.

The Prisoner's Club clarified in a report issued in this regard, that these data include all those who were arrested, whether they remained in detention or were released later, including those arrested from their homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender under pressure, or those held as hostages.

The total number of arrests among women exceeded 700 cases. This statistic includes women who were arrested from the territories of 1948, as well as from Gaza, and were arrested from the West Bank.

The number of arrests among children was about 1800 cases.

The number of arrests among journalists after the genocide was more than 240 journalists, 43 of whom are still detained, including three female journalists, and one journalist, Marwan Harzallah from Nablus, died inside the prisons of the occupation.

The continued arrest campaigns following the genocide are accompanied by escalating violations, including brutal beatings and assaults, threats to the detainees and their families, in addition to widespread vandalism and destruction of Palestinian homes, confiscation of vehicles, money, and gold jewelry, as well as extensive destruction of infrastructure, especially in the Tulkarm and Jenin camps and their camp.

Along with the arrest campaigns, the occupation forces also carry out field executions that sometimes involve individuals from the families of the detainees, with escalated field interrogation operations affecting thousands across various governorates of the West Bank, as well as in the Gaza Strip.
