Amman AlAhliyya in collaboration with Al Balqa Youth Forum hosts a national seminar sponsored by His Excellency Dr Rajai Muash

Khaberni  - Amman Al-Ahliyya University hosted a panel discussion titled “What Does Jordan Want from Us Now in the Current Situation?”, sponsored by Senator Dr. Rajai Saleh Muasher, and in collaboration with Al Balqa Youth Forum, attended by the university president Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan and the Dean of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, along with a group of political and national figures, academics, media personnel, and university students.

The seminar addressed the major challenges facing Jordan in the current stage, amid regional and international changes, emphasizing the importance of enhancing national awareness and unifying efforts to meet the requirements of this stage.

Dr. Muasher pointed out during his speech that Jordan has always faced successive crises through no fault of its own, noting that the recent regional developments and their complexities impose challenges that require more internal cohesion and strengthening of the national front.

He emphasized that the state's priority lies in maintaining sovereignty and protecting the security of its citizens, which requires standing united behind the Hashemite leadership and supporting security forces in appreciation of their role in maintaining security and stability.

He also referred to Jordan's efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting the brothers in the Gaza Strip, whether through humanitarian aid or diplomatic actions, affirming Jordan's steadfast position on the Palestinian issue and its rejection of any projects that affect the rights of the Palestinian people or the status of Jerusalem.

In turn, the political writer Hussein Al-Rawashdeh provided an analytical overview of the political scene, highlighting the most pressing issues and emphasizing the importance of informed discourse and deep analysis in anticipating the future and serving national interests.

In the same context, Senator Fadel Al-Hamoud emphasized that the current stage requires a deep national awareness, highlighting the importance of translating belonging into practical behavior away from slogans, and that the strength of nations is measured by the ability of its people to remain steadfast and responsible during times of challenges.

The seminar witnessed notable interaction from the audience, through interventions and discussions that reflected a significant interest in national issues and ways to enhance the resilience of the Jordanian state.

This seminar is part of Amman Al-Ahliyya University's approach to establishing a culture of constructive national dialogue and enhancing its role as an academic platform that contributes to raising awareness of national and regional issues.
