Khaberni - The official newspaper "Kuwait Today" published on Sunday, Decree No. (59) for the year 2026, which orders the cancellation of Decree No. (346) of the year 2007 related to the establishment of the Government Performance Monitoring Agency.
According to the decree, the responsibilities of the canceled agency will be transferred to the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, with the Cabinet having the authority to assign any of these responsibilities to one or more entities as it deems appropriate.
The decree stipulates the transfer of permanent employees in the Government Performance Monitoring Agency to the Civil Service Bureau in preparation for their redistribution to various government entities while maintaining their grades and salaries. Meanwhile, the service of temporary employees and consultants in the agency will be terminated from the date the decree is effective, with adherence to the legal procedures stipulated in this regard.
