Khaberni - Maariv reported on Sunday that a senior US military official visited Israel in recent days, amid the possibility of a sudden collapse of the ceasefire with Iran.
Maariv quoted a high-ranking Israeli military official at the end of the week saying that the Israeli military and the US military are closely coordinating.
The Israeli official noted that in recent days, the commander of the US Central Command "CENTCOM," Admiral Brad Cooper, visited Israel, where he met with the Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.
The official explained that the current coordination focuses on the possibility of a sudden collapse of the ceasefire with Iran.
He added: We are ready, and so are the Americans, for this possibility. If we have to resume fighting, we know what needs to be done. We are in coordination, and the strike we will deliver will be very painful and will cause very severe damage to the Iranians.
The official mentioned that the target bank has been updated, and the military intelligence division is monitoring developments in Iran, noting that the targets the two armies may focus on this time will also include Iranian energy facilities.
