Khaberni - Al-Ramtha team clinched the title of Jordan Cup for Youth Under 19 years football, after defeating Al-Faisaly with a goal to nil, in the final match that took place this Saturday evening at Prince Mohammad Stadium in Zarqa city.
The winning goal came to grant Al-Ramtha their first title in the newly introduced age-group competition, following a successful campaign where the team exhibited remarkable levels, including a prominent 4-1 victory over Al-Ahli in the semi-final round.
Following the end of the match, the Technical Director of the Jordan Football Association, Abdulhay bin Sultan, handed the championship cup and the first-place medals to Al-Ramtha players in the presence of Al-Ramtha Club president Khalid Al-Zu’bi and Al-Faisaly Club president Ahmed Wreikat, while Al-Faisaly players received the second-place medals.
The organization of the Jordan Cup for age groups is part of the Jordan Football Association's plan aimed at expanding the competition base among clubs, providing young players more opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, and enhance the future of the national teams.
