Hezbollah Our Hand on the Trigger We Will Respond to Breaches

Khaberni - Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, stated that "our hand is on the trigger and we will respond to breaches," emphasizing that the ceasefire would not have occurred without the sacrifices of the resistance fighters on the front lines.

He added in a statement: "The battlefield has proven to be the decisive factor, and successful politics are those that benefit from the results of the battlefield as a source of strength to compel Israel to submit to securing Lebanon’s rights."

Qassem considered that "the US State Department's statement regarding the Lebanese-Israeli negotiations is meaningless and an insult to Lebanon," and explained that "Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz in response to the American failure to maintain the ceasefire in Lebanon, which then forced American submission and compelled Israel to halt."

The Secretary-General emphasized that "we will not accept a 15-month pathway of enduring Israeli bombing while waiting for diplomacy that achieved nothing."

Qassem announced that "the next step is to implement the following five points:

Permanent cessation of bombing across Lebanon by air, land, and sea.
Israeli withdrawal from occupied territories up to the borders.
 Release of prisoners.
Return of residents to their villages and towns up to the borders.
Reconstruction with Arab and international support and national responsibility.
