Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Al-Safadi said that the entire region desires security, peace, and stability with the goal of building the future, emphasizing that Iranian interventions in the internal affairs of the region’s countries and their actions undermining sovereignty must be addressed and rectified.
Al-Safadi added that Jordan's position was decisive against the war, and it sought to prevent it, confirming Jordan's standing alongside the Gulf States and supporting all measures they take in defense of their security and sovereignty.
Al-Safadi affirmed that the occupation of Palestinian territories by the Israeli occupation and the ongoing Israeli measures make the two-state solution impossible to implement and undermine efforts to achieve peace.
Al-Safadi stated that Israel challenges international and regional security by its expansion into Palestinian and Lebanese territories and its refusal to allow Palestinians the right to establish their state, noting that this has negative repercussions on the whole world.
He added that there must be an initiative that fulfills the legitimate rights of all through the Arab Peace Initiative, which is a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that ensures the rights of Palestinians to freedom and a state, aims at the liberation of the occupied Palestinian and Syrian territories, and secures peace for Israel.
