Khaberni - Local sources in Quneitra reported that the Israeli army transported three prefabricated rooms on military trucks to the eastern Tal Al-Ahmar in the southern Quneitra countryside in Syria.
The move has raised concerns among the locals about the Israeli army's intentions to establish a new military point, adding to the total military points that constitute the Israeli military presence in this area.
According to sources, the movements of the Israeli army are in line with previous targeting and frequent firing from the site, where the eastern hill is continuously subjected to shelling, in addition to being a starting point for Israeli patrols in the area, which are stationed in the western Tal Al-Ahmar in front after it also turned into an Israeli military base since the fall of the previous regime in December 2024.
An Israeli army patrol had set up a checkpoint on Friday at the junction of Rasm Al-Halabi village in central Quneitra countryside.
According to our sources, the field reasons for establishing this checkpoint are unknown, and there is no information about the Israeli army detaining anyone at the checkpoint or any of the locals.
