Khaberni - In a strange and striking incident, a woman forgot 20 large-sized spiders on board a regional train in Germany.
The train driver, during the journey from Hernberg to Tübingen, discovered a package marked "Spiders and Scorpions", and immediately informed the federal police.
A police spokesperson explained that after the package was received at the main Tübingen station, a paper attached to the box was found containing information identifying the owner and confirming compliance with legal regulations for species protection.
The twenty spiders, which are of the Brazilian species "Avicularia Gerald", were placed in separate boxes within the main box, and were all found in good condition when discovered last Thursday.
The owner was contacted and recovered her spiders on the same day, while the reasons that led to forgetting this unique cargo inside the train have not yet been clarified.
