Google develops a Pixelclass laptop and a lighting feature for phones

Khaberni - Google is working on developing a new laptop branded "Pixel", alongside a device lighting feature called "Pixel Glow", according to recent analyses of the beta versions of the "Android Canary" and "Android" systems.

Both projects are still in their early stages, but indications in the system files suggest that "Google" is exploring new categories of devices, as well as interactive visual features linked to its devices, according to a report by "9to5Google", a website specialized in technology news.

"Pixel Glow"
"Pixel Glow" is a hardware-dependent lighting system that uses faint lights on the back of the device to indicate its activity when placed face down.

"Pixel Glow" is designed to display visual signals for specific actions, such as incoming calls from specific contacts and interaction with Google's "Gemini" assistant. It appears that the aim of this feature is to provide information without requiring users to look directly at the screen.

This feature can be customized, allowing users to independently activate or deactivate certain triggers. There is also a warning in the settings indicating that the feature may not be suitable for people who are sensitive to light.

"Pixel Glow" might debut with the upcoming Pixel smartphones. Potential locations for it include the camera strip or the Pixel logo on the back of the phones.

Pixel laptop under development?
In addition to "Pixel Glow", indications have been found that "Google" is working on a new Pixel-branded laptop, as the codes in Android versions include indications of types of desktop devices and icons related to laptop lighting controls.

Although the details are still limited, this move could represent a return of "Google" to the laptop market under the "Pixel" brand, following previous devices like "Pixelbook" and "Pixelbook Go."

The development of the "Pixel Glow" feature is not limited to smartphones only, but also extends to include other devices as well, as the system-level codes indicate compatibility with desktop devices, suggesting the possibility of the feature also appearing in the future Pixel laptop.
