Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate, represented by the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection and other field units, continues to carry out regulatory and educational environmental campaigns in picnic spots, touristic and archaeological sites, forests, and beaches across the various provinces of the kingdom.
These campaigns are part of the national efforts aimed at protecting the environment, maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of natural and touristic sites, enforcing environmental laws, and spreading environmental awareness, coinciding with the start of the tourist season and the picnicking season.
The Public Security Directorate has reiterated that these campaigns are ongoing and in cooperation with various related entities, including the Ministry of Environment, whether through awareness programs and campaigns, or by intensifying field monitoring and follow-up and enhancing law enforcement measures against offenders. This contributes to achieving deterrence and reducing negative environmental phenomena, enhancing the culture of community responsibility towards the environment, positively reflecting on the kingdom’s civil image, and protecting and sustaining the Jordanian environment for future generations.
