Khaberni - Finance Minister Abdel Hakim Al Shibli met with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Deputy Managing Director Kenji Okamura, and several Fund officials, on the sidelines of the Spring Meetings of 2026.
Al Shibli and the accompanying delegation held a series of meetings with Fund officials, which resulted in reaching an agreement at the expert level regarding the fifth review of the Extended Fund Facility, and the second review of the Resilience and Sustainability Facility, allowing for the provision of about $197 million.
