Khaberni - A Chinese automotive company has patented a hidden toilet under a sliding car seat that can be operated using voice commands, according to a government database.
The public records show that the electric car company "Seres" (Seres) earlier this month obtained approval for a patent for its mobile toilet.
The toilet can be operated manually by sliding the seat back, or through the voice command "activate the toilet".
The company's engineers stated in the patent application that this system aims to "meet the needs of users during long trips, or while camping, or when staying inside the car".
A fan system with an exhaust tube works to dispel smells outside the car, while waste is collected in a tank that requires periodic emptying. The toilet also includes a rotating heating element that works to vaporize urine and dry other wastes.
In recent years, electric car companies in China have revealed models equipped with countless accessories, in an attempt to attract consumers in a highly competitive market.
Features such as karaoke systems and mini-fridges have become common, while the company "Nio" (Nio) says that some of its models' seats are equipped with a "hot stone massage" feature.
Last year, the industry-leading company "BYD" (BYD) announced an intelligent system for drones incorporated in vehicles, while the company "XPeng" (XPeng) reported that the delivery of its vehicle known as "the land aircraft carrier", a vehicle containing a six-propeller plane, is expected to begin this year.
It is still unclear whether the "Seres" idea will enter the production stage
