Khaberni - YouTube announced a new change aimed at improving the live streaming experience by reducing or delaying ads during peak interaction times, offering users a brief ad-free viewing period.
The platform also added new features for creators and expanded monetization tools, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the live streaming experience.
YouTube said it will automatically stop showing ads when interaction in the live chat increases, as the system detects peak interaction and temporarily avoids displaying ads to all viewers, ensuring that this measure aims to "protect collective engagement" and guarantee the continuation of the viewer's enjoyment of the moment.
The company added new features for users who support content creators during live streams, pointing out that these features are designed to highlight fan interaction.
The "Super Chat" feature allows users to pay to pin their messages in the chat, while "Super Stickers" are paid images that help messages stand out. By providing an ad-free window, YouTube seeks to make these interactions more beneficial.
In addition, YouTube has introduced several updates for creators, with now broader areas supporting sending gifts to viewers, including countries such as Canada, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.
Viewers can now send GIF images in horizontal live streams from mobile devices, expanding the scope of features that were previously limited to vertical live streams.
Furthermore, content creators can now stream live both vertically and horizontally at the same time, with all viewers able to join a shared chat.
