Khaberni - Amman Al-Ahliyya University celebrated the Jordanian Flag Day in a distinctive national atmosphere, with wide participation from students and members of the faculty and administrative bodies, in a scene that reflected the depth of pride in national identity and belonging to the homeland.
The events began in the early morning hours of Thursday, April 16th, 2026, where the university entrances and courtyards were adorned with Jordanian flags, and flags were distributed to attendees, coinciding with the broadcast of national anthems that added an enthusiastic character expressing pride and esteem for this occasion.
The university president, Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan, emphasized during his participation in the celebration that the Jordanian flag represents a symbol of national unity and a title for a history filled with sacrifices and achievements, stressing the importance of instilling the meanings of loyalty and belonging in the students, and reinforcing their connection with national symbols that embody the identity of the Jordanian state.
He pointed out that this national occasion provides an opportunity to deepen the youth's awareness of the importance of preserving the nation's gains and drawing inspiration from the national values upon which Jordan was founded, under the wise Hashemite leadership.
The event witnessed an atmosphere of joy and engagement, where participants expressed their love for Jordan and their pride in its flag that symbolizes dignity and unity, reaffirming their commitment to continue working for the service of the homeland and contributing to its developmental journey.
This event is part of a series of activities carried out by the university aimed at enhancing national values and consolidating the symbolism of the Jordanian flag in the consciousness of its students.
At the end of the celebration, the university community raised their highest prayers that God protects Jordan, and maintains upon it the blessings of security and stability, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
