Khaberni - Amman Chamber of Commerce participated in the national activities to celebrate Jordanian Flag Day, by distributing flags to citizens and drivers in the Shmeisani area, within the "Our Flag is High" campaign, implemented by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with state institutions.
The President of Amman Chamber of Commerce, Senator Khalil Al-Hajj Tawfiq, confirmed that the Chamber's participation in this national occasion stems from its deep belief in the symbolism of the Jordanian flag, as a symbol of sovereignty and state unity, and a reflection of the pride and dignity that form the consciousness of Jordanians.
He said that the flag is not just a banner to be raised, but rather a story of a nation, a symbol of cumulative sacrifices made by generations of Jordanians, and an ongoing message that reflects the strength and cohesion of the state, and reinforces the values of belonging and loyalty across various workplaces and sectors.
He added that the commercial sector, alongside various components of society, draws from the Jordanian flag meanings of stability and confidence, considering it a unifying umbrella for economic activities, and an indicator of the robustness of the national environment upon which economic and social structures are built.
Al-Hajj Tawfiq pointed out that celebrating Flag Day reflects a state of national cohesion, and embodies unity behind the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, affirming that the flag will continue to fly high in the homeland’s sky, a symbol of pride and honor, and a beacon for an ongoing journey of work and achievement.
He indicated that this field participation aims to enhance the presence of national symbolism in the public space, and to reinforce citizens' connection to their country's flag, which carries deep meanings of sacrifice and belonging, and the continuation of building on a solid foundation of trust and stability.
