Khaberni - Egyptian artist Tamer Hosny shared on his personal Facebook account rare photos of the first musical album he released at the beginning of the 2000s, specifically in 2002, featuring star Sherine Abdel Wahab, recalling their memories together after achieving great success with the songs they presented together at the beginning of their artistic journey, especially in the absence of the owner of "Ah Ya Leil" from the artistic scene recently for a long period.
Tamer commented on the poster saying: "Come on, tell me about your memories with this historic album, the Tamer and Sherine album, for those who don't know, this was the beginning for me and Sherine, and this was our first album where each of us sang half the album, 4 songs each, and two songs together, like (If You're Afraid) and (If You Forgot)."
He added: "Of course, a heartfelt salute to the person who, from all of Egypt and the entire Arab world, chose Tamer Hosny and Sherine Abdel Wahab to present them together in a single album, the Egyptian and Arab production legend, Nasr Mahrous. Who among you was there at that time or heard about it? And those who will tell me they weren't born yet, please say it in a better way than this."
In turn, producer Nasr Mahrous interacted with Tamer Hosny's post, recalling his memories with the album and said in his message to Tamer Hosny: "My dear Tamer, this album was closest to my heart.. especially with two voices I love, Tamer and Sherine, whom I'm proud to have introduced to the audience because they deserve all the success and brilliance.. and it's one of the most important albums of my life generally.. It was an experience I believed in very much and I felt how much this album would affect people and they would love it.. And of course, we are seeing the result of this experiment which brought us a top-tier star and a leading star, may God be with you and protect you.. and I hope to see you rising higher, I am proud of you.. I thank God and you deserve all the good, my friend."
Widespread Interaction
The post achieved extensive interaction from more than 5,000, with many followers sharing their memories with the musical album, while others expressed their wishes for a new musical duet between Tamer and Sherine.
Meanwhile, Sherine Abdel Wahab continues her absence from the artistic scene amidst her repeated health and personal crises.
