College of Law at AlAhliyya Amman University Organizes a Dialogue Session on the Regulation of Student Political Party Activiti

Khaberni - The College of Law at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, in collaboration with the Independent Election Commission, organized a dialogue session that addressed the system for practicing student political party activities in higher education institutions. This was part of efforts to enhance political awareness among students and to establish a culture of responsible party participation within the university campus. The session aimed to familiarize students with the legal framework governing student party work and to highlight their rights and duties in this field. It also discussed major challenges that might face the practice of party activities in the university environment and the mechanisms for organizing them in line with national legislation and preserving the independence of educational institutions. 
During the session, participants emphasized the importance of empowering young people to engage in political life in an aware and organized way, considering them a fundamental pillar in the political reform process. They stressed the need to create a university environment that supports dialogue, plurality, and respect for other opinions. The session witnessed significant interaction from the students, who raised many questions and inquiries that reflected their growing interest in public affairs and their desire to understand more deeply their role in political and party life within higher education institutions.
