Khaberni - A serious accident occurred on a busy freeway in Southern California, where a Corvette lost control while traveling at high speed, causing it to veer off the 60 freeway in Los Angeles County.
The car surged toward a luxury car showroom of Maserati type. Despite the severity of the accident, the two passengers inside survived without serious injuries.
The incident occurred around 1:45 AM in the city of Industry, after reports of a vehicle colliding with the showroom building, according to "KTLA" channel.
A dramatic video obtained by the channel showed terrifying moments of the car swerving across several lanes before hitting a safety barrier and launching off the road, rolling several times before coming to a rest inside the dealership site.
An eyewitness stated that the car was possibly racing other vehicles before the accident, noting that it brushed against his car at speeds exceeding 110 miles per hour.
However, the authorities have not confirmed this, explaining that the accident is still under investigation and is currently classified as a property damage incident.
The collision led to significant damage to the car, as well as damage to a lamppost and parts of the fence at the dealership site. City safety inspectors were called in to assess the structural damage to the building.
