Khaberni - A massive collision involving about 70 vehicles caused traffic congestion on a snowy part of a highway in Colorado, USA, on Tuesday, leading to eight people being transported to the hospital.
The Colorado State Patrol said in a statement that the traffic congestion prompted officials to close the east side of Interstate 70 in Clear Creek County, about 80 kilometers west of Denver.
Photos circulating online show several articulated trucks piled up, with debris scattered on the road and damage to the fronts of vehicles.
The cause of the massive collision was not immediately clear.
