This phone turns your photos into professional videos

Khaberni - Honor is preparing to launch its new phone series, the Honor 600 series, within a few days, with a noticeable focus on artificial intelligence capabilities, which may be the most prominent element in these devices.

The company is building on the success of the previous generation, where users through the Honor 400 series were able to create more than 13.4 million seconds of videos using artificial intelligence technologies, reflecting the increasing popularity of this type of feature.

The new devices offer an upgraded version of the “Image to Video 2.0” feature, which allows for converting still images into short videos more smoothly and realistically, according to a report published by "digitaltrends" and reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".

Artificial intelligence works locally
The new technology relies on a multimodal model that operates entirely on the device, without the need to connect to the cloud, which ensures faster processing and improves user privacy.

The user can input one or even three images, with a simple textual description of the desired scene, and the system will produce a video lasting between 3 and 8 seconds, which is supposed to look closer to professional production rather than a traditional slideshow.

Solving video distortion problems
Among the most prominent challenges in this area is maintaining the stability of elements within the video, as many tools suffer from visual distortions when changing angles.

However, "Honor" confirms that it has addressed this problem through a technology that relies on understanding the three-dimensional structure of elements from two-dimensional images, which helps maintain consistency even with complex camera movements.

Features for beginners and professionals
To facilitate usage, the new series offers ready-made templates for known cinematic effects, such as "Hitchcock zoom" and "Bullet time", alongside scene transformation effects.

The devices will also feature a dedicated artificial intelligence button, to facilitate access to these features without the need to navigate through settings.

As the launch date approaches, it appears that "Honor" is striving to turn its new phones into a mobile “production studio”, not just a traditional smartphone, while the actual performance of these technologies remains dependent on the real-world experience after the devices are released in the markets.
