A New Google App Integrates Gemini into the Windows System

Khaberni  - The American company "Google" has released a new application for "Windows" devices that enables users to directly access the company's artificial intelligence tools and use them directly from the device without the need to visit any website.

The application functions similarly to the search bar on "Mac" computers, where you can search the internet and ask "Gemini" directly through this application without having to visit the service site.

Upon initial startup of the application, it appears capable of searching the user's stored files on their personal computer or in their "Google Drive" folder, to significantly benefit from them.

The application also allows searching for anything you see on the screen, resembling the 'Search from selection' feature found on "Google Pixel" phones, and also in the "Gemini" and "Chrome" applications.

It also enables users to interact with "Gemini" quickly and directly, similar to how the mobile version of the application functions, which comes pre-installed on "Android" phones and allows you to pose questions to it easily.

The application can be summoned to the forefront of any open window in Windows by simply pressing the "alt" key along with the space (space) key, revealing its small window that encourages you to ask anything you want.

A separate report published by the American tech site "PC World" confirms that the new app surpasses "Copilot," which "Microsoft" offers on "Windows" computers.

The application can easily handle any service outside of Google's main services, but it faces some challenges and may sometimes stop working.

The feature to search and request information about anything on the screen is one of the best features of the new application, as it enables users to access information easily and conveniently without the need to use external applications like "Chrome".

You can also request the help of artificial intelligence in any application in front of you without needing to take a screenshot and then share it with "Gemini," which previously required extra effort from users.

The application interface is currently only available in English, with a promise from Google to offer it in other languages in the future; however, the application accepts requests and commands in any language and is available to all users worldwide. You can download it from this  link.

The application may evolve to become a private artificial intelligence agent for Gemini in users' computers, similar to the "CoWork" feature from "Cloud" and "Anthropic".

The launch of the new application coincides with "Google's" expanded steps to integrate "Gemini" into all its products and services, and these steps began with the integration of "Gemini" into "Google's" cloud services, whether email or cloud storage, and then the company integrated it into the "Chrome" browser and "YouTube".

The benefits of integrating artificial intelligence into Google services are gradually reaching users around the world, with some still exclusive to the United States.
