Central Command tallies US military losses in the war against Iran

Khaberni - Central Command spokesperson Tim Hawkins said that about 400 American military personnel have been injured since the beginning of the American-Israeli operation against Iran, including 3 who have sustained serious injuries.

Hawkins added to the Associated Press today, Wednesday: "About 400 American military personnel have been injured since the American and Israeli strikes on Iran began on February 28," clarifying that 399 military personnel were injured, including 3 with serious injuries, while 354 have returned to service.

He pointed out that the death toll reached 13 military personnel, among them 7 were killed in combat action, and 6 due to an Iranian strike in Kuwait, while another died from wounds sustained in Saudi Arabia.

The United States and Israel began striking targets on Iranian territory on February 28, and these attacks have resulted in the death of more than 3,000 people.

On April 8, Washington and Tehran announced a ceasefire for two weeks. The negotiations that followed in Islamabad ended without results.

At the same time, there have been no reports of a resumption of hostilities, but the United States has begun a blockade of Iranian ports. Mediators are attempting to organize a new round of negotiations.
