Administrative Court annuls decision to dismiss AlTubassi and confirms his continued membership

Khaberni - The Administrative Court supported the appeal submitted by MP Hamza Al-Tubassi against the annulment of his dismissal decision from the party.

MP Al-Tubassi had won his case in the court against the Labour Party last week.
Al-Tubassi confirmed that he is still a member of the Labour Party and is committed to its program, emphasizing that the claims about his dismissal are not based on a definitive administrative decision.
Al-Tubassi said that the dismissal decision, or the subject of it, requires a definitive administrative decision, clarifying that what was issued against him was a decision from the party court, and he had appealed it in the Administrative Court, and therefore, it had not become definitive.
He added that the decision not reaching a definitive status means the continuation of his membership in the party and his commitment to its program, confirming that he swore the constitutional oath as a deputy in the House of Representatives, fully representing the Jordanian people.
Al-Tubassi pointed out that the statements issued regarding his dismissal do not change the legal reality at all, reconfirming that he is not dismissed from the party, and that he is proceeding with performing his parliamentary role according to the provisions of the Constitution.
On Monday, MP Al-Tubassi took the constitutional oath as a member of the twentieth House of Representatives, based on provisions of Article (80) of the Constitution.
The head of the board of commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, Musa Al-Maaytah, had informed the House of Representatives that Hamza Hani Al-Tubassi would be the new MP in the council, following the vacancy of MP Mohammad Al-Jarrah's seat, with a ruling from the Higher Administrative Court, and Al-Tubassi was the candidate following Al-Jarrah from the same category and list.
Al-Tubassi said in his speech that the involvement of youth in parties and political life is not an optional choice, but a national necessity imposed by the nature of the stage, as young people represent a renewable energy capable of renewing political thought and participating in formulating public policies.
He added: "We will not look back, nor will any distortion or denigration affect us, for the honesty of action is the mirror that reflects what is in the hearts."
