Khaberni - Weather maps at the Arab Weather Center indicate an increasing impact on the kingdom, God willing, of a relatively hot air mass, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 15 and 16, 2026. This coincides with increased dust levels in the atmosphere at intervals, with chances of thundercloud formation in the extreme regions of the desert accompanied by what is known as sudden and strong winds that cause sandstorms around the thunderclouds.
The weather will be pleasant with the appearance of medium and high clouds, and the atmosphere tends to be cool late at night and at dawn.
There is an expected development of thunderclouds over parts of the southern and eastern desert extending to the Saudi border, accompanied by what is known as sudden winds that lead to the stirring up of dust waves around these thunderclouds.
An additional rise in temperatures is expected, to be above average by about 9-11 degrees Celsius, making the atmosphere relatively hot in general areas and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Parts of the kingdom will be affected by unstable weather conditions with expected thunder showers concentrated in the eastern part of the kingdom, and their extension to other areas is not ruled out, albeit on a limited scale.
However, the notable aspect in these thunderclouds is what is known as the sudden strong winds which usually cause sandstorms in the desert areas in such cases. Monitoring also continues for chances of dust expansion to cover areas far from the framework of thunderclouds formation, especially in the evenings and night from Thursday/Friday night, and details will be provided, God willing, in the upcoming updates.
