AlAmoush Our governments have been talking about growth for a century so how did the debt come about

Khaberni - Former Minister Dr. Bassam Al-Amoush raised a series of critical questions about the performance of successive Jordanian governments, discussing the repeated official discourse since the establishment of the state in 1921 up to today. News

Al-Amoush, in a post published on his personal page, pointed out his observation of the repetition of a set of vocabularies in the different government speeches, ranging from the government of Rashid Tali'a to our present day. These words included themes like "development," "support," "growth increase," "stability," and "integrity."

In his discussion of reality, Al-Amoush posed fundamental questions about the fate of these slogans that are repeated over decades. He wondered: If the governments have been talking about achieving growth for more than a hundred years, why is the debt still stagnant and even increasing? And why haven't these comprehensive plans addressed the escalating unemployment issues?

He did not stop there, as Al-Amoush addressed the term "fighting corruption," considering it to be used as if dealing with a transient crisis like locusts or drugs, and called for a deeper and more sustainable approach to addressing this issue.

Al-Amoush concluded his post with a symbolic reference describing the process of "assembling government Lego" as difficult for him, indicating a lack of coherence between the slogans presented and the results achieved.
