Ministry of Culture announces its program for celebrating Science Day in the provinces

Khaberni - The Ministry of Culture organizes, the day after tomorrow, Thursday, national celebrations on the occasion of the National Day of Jordanian Science in all the provinces of the Kingdom, within the campaign "Our Science High".
According to a statement from the ministry today, Tuesday, the celebrations will see wide participation from official bodies and NGOs, including a variety of artistic and cultural programs and activities.
The Minister of Culture, Mustafa Rawashdeh, said in the statement, that "the Jordanian flag is a national symbol that transcends its formal significance, expressing the history, the present, and the future of the Jordanian state, and embodies values of determination and pride characteristic of the Jordanians."
He added that the flag carries in its colors the symbolism of the state's historical continuity, linking modern Jordan to its Arabic and Islamic roots, the legacy of the Great Arab Revolt, and its Hashemite leadership, emphasizing that celebrating Flag Day enhances feelings of belonging and loyalty to the country.
Rawashdeh mentioned that the flag will be raised in all provinces at twelve noon, organized by the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of the bands of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, alongside official institutions, popular events, and scout groups.
The main artistic events will start at eight thirty in the evening, according to the following program:
- In the capital province, where artist Omar Al-Abdallat will animate the main concert at the Roman Theater.
- In Irbid province, the concert will be animated by artist Bashar Al-Sarhan and artists Hossam and Wissam Al-Louzi at King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein Gardens.
- In Zarqa province, artist Hamdi Al-Manaseer will animate the concert at the Royal Urban Village Theater.
- In Karak province, artist Saad Abu Tayeh will animate the concert at the Prince Faisal Youth Complex.
- In Aqaba province, artist Diana Karazon will animate the concert at the Greater Arab Revolt Square Theater.
The celebration program also includes the broadcast of the events on display screens at various locations, including: Al-Salt Secondary School, Jerash Cultural Center, Ajloun Visitors Center, Madaba Visitors Center, the late Atallah Al-Shebil Park in Mafraq Governorate, Tafila Reconstruction Foundation, and Ma'an Culture Directorate.
