Jordan Twoyear suspension instead of permanent for those involved in the Jordanian university fight

Khaberni - Lawyer Abdul Karim Al-Ghanem Al-Ajarmeh announced the acceptance of the appeals submitted for the students who were permanently expelled from the Jordanian University and the modification of the punishment to become a two-year suspension instead of permanent expulsion.

The Jordanian University had decided in October last year to permanently expel 21 students based on the student discipline system, after their involvement in incidents on the university campus was proven. These incidents caused public disorder, disrupted the educational process, and damaged some facilities.
This decision came after completing the investigations with them by the competent committees and the disciplinary council, which included reviewing the evidence, hearing witnesses, and referring to surveillance camera recordings, all of which confirmed the involvement of the expelled students in these events.
Lawyer Al-Ajarmeh thanked all the lawyers who participated in drafting the appeals and objecting to the decision, including Dr. Hashim Ali Al-Shahwan, former member of the Bar Association Council, Mamoun Fayez Al-Sawa'ira, Abed Muneer Al-Afeshat, Nasr Khalaf Al-Faqira, Advisor Emad Al-Masa'ida, Advisor Ahmed Ali Matrouk, Dr. Nayef Al-Thawabi, Akram Al-Qaisi, Refa' Al-Sawa'ira, Sameeh Al-Barari, Dr. Ismail Al-Ruhail, Khaled Al-Sawa’ira, Ahmad Al-Ayada, Khalaf Al-Khabayba, Nour Al-Deen Najeh, and Bilal Al-Ghanem.
