The Israeli Army Announces 10 Soldiers Injured in Southern Lebanon

Khaberni  - The Israeli army announced today, Tuesday, that three of its soldiers sustained serious injuries, another sustained moderate injuries, and six additional soldiers sustained minor injuries during clashes in southern Lebanon.

The army explained in a statement that the injured soldiers were evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been informed.

In more detail, the army radio reported that ten paratroopers from Battalion 101 were injured in a clash with Hezbollah elements in southern Lebanon, noting that the clash occurred in the town of Bint Jbeil, which is currently a major center for Israeli army operations in southern Lebanon.

It added: "The paratroopers faced Hezbollah elements at close range, and a firefight ensued between the two sides. The ten injured fighters were evacuated to the hospital. Some of them were urgently transported by helicopter, while others were transported by vehicles."

Earlier today, the Israeli army announced that an army reservist was killed and two others injured in a clash in southern Lebanon, bringing the total number of Israeli soldiers killed in Lebanon to 13 since the beginning of the conflict.

According to the army, 154 officers and soldiers have been injured in battles in southern Lebanon since last Thursday, 34 of them seriously and 78 moderately.
