Amman Arab University signs an academic cooperation agreement with the University of East Anglia to enhance education and scient

Khaberni  - Following the directives of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the President of Amman Arab University, and under the supervision of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, the Dean of the College of Engineering, the university signed an academic cooperation agreement with the University of East Anglia in the United Kingdom, aiming to expand the horizons of international cooperation and enhance the quality of education and scientific research.

This agreement aims to develop areas of cooperation in higher education, through the exchange of students and faculty members, the implementation of joint research projects, in addition to working on establishing joint academic programs and exchanging scientific expertise between the two sides. The University of East Anglia is known for its outstanding research status in the United Kingdom, boasting a prestigious global reputation in scientific research and educational quality, and offering a wide range of advanced academic disciplines, which enhances the quality of the academic experience and opportunities for global research collaboration.

In this regard, Dr. Al-Assaf confirmed that the signing of this agreement aligns with the strategic plan of Amman Arab University aimed at enhancing its academic presence regionally and internationally, and expanding its partnerships with prestigious educational institutions and universities of advanced global ranking. He explained that the university aims through these agreements to enhance the quality of education, and develop academic programs in accordance with the latest global standards in higher education and quality assurance and accreditation, adding that these partnerships contribute to providing a more open and integrated educational environment, offering students opportunities for academic exchange and exposure to diverse educational experiences, in addition to enabling faculty members to collaborate in the fields of joint scientific research, publish research in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in international conferences, thus enhancing the university's research and academic standing. He noted that this agreement represents an important step towards supporting innovation and applied research, and linking educational outcomes to the needs of the local and global labor market.

In turn, Dr. Mohammad Ismail, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting and enhancing scientific research paths, especially in the fields of renewable energy and environmental sustainability, sectors that are globally prioritized. He pointed out that this agreement will contribute to opening broad prospects for research and applied cooperation between the two sides, through the implementation of joint scientific projects and the exchange of research expertise, thereby enhancing the production of innovative scientific knowledge.

Dr. Al-Assaf also noted that the agreement contributes to enhancing cultural and scientific exchange between the two sides, and establishing the concept of academic openness and international learning, through providing an advanced educational environment with a global character. It will also allow students broader opportunities to acquire academic and practical knowledge and experiences, and exposure to diverse educational experiences that contribute to honing their skills and expanding their scientific horizons, thereby enhancing their readiness to engage efficiently in the local and international labor market.
