Jordanian Government Decisions to Isolate Employees

Khaberni - The administrative arena in Jordan witnessed the issuance of a number of notifications and official decisions related to the termination of services and isolation of employees in governmental and municipal entities, based on the systems and instructions in force in the public service, and in accordance with the legal procedures adopted in each institution.

The decisions issued today included notifications from the Jordan Customs Department, isolation decisions at the Greater Amman Municipality, alongside job loss decisions issued by the Ministry of Labor, within the framework of applying the legal texts related to job discipline, judicial decisions, and absence from work.

 

Jordan Customs Department notifies an employee of his isolation from the position
 
The Director General of the Jordan Customs Department issued a notification to one of the department's employees (Customs Agent Walid Al-Nuweihy), stating that he is considered isolated from the position as a final decision, effective from the date the criminal verdict issued against him became final on 17 / 7 / 2024.

 

The notification clarified that the decision was based on the provisions of articles (17) and (65) of the system regulating the tasks of the customs police, official uniform, and ranks and distinctive badges, where it was emphasized the necessity of reviewing the department for the purposes of clearing liabilities and handing over all deposits of tools and supplies.


 

Greater Amman Municipality announces the isolation of an employee by official decision
 
In a separate context, the Greater Amman Municipality issued a decision to isolate the employee Yasser Al-Harasis from his position, based on the provisions of article (99 / g) of the Amman Municipality employees' system number (86) for the year 2025.


 

According to the decision, it included an official letter issued by the chairman of the Amman Municipality committee, Dr. Youssef Al-Shawarbeh, which decrees the isolation of the employee effective from the date of 25 / 10 / 2025, in accordance with the internal systems in force in the municipality.


 
Ministry of Labor announces an employee's loss of his position
 
In addition, the Minister of Labor Khaled Al-Bakkar issued a decision regarding the employee Laith Al-Kharisha, which included considering him as having lost his position effective from the date of 19 / 3 / 2026, due to his absence from his work location for more than ten working days without legal leave or legitimate excuse.


 

The decision was based on the provisions of article (96) of the public sector Human Resource Management System, which regulates cases of job loss in case of unjustified absence from work.
