Khaberni - Egyptian security revealed details of the arrest of a content creator who published a video on how to evade surveillance cameras for those intending to commit traffic violations or criminal offenses.
The security forces stated that upon examination, the owner of the referred account (resident in the jurisdiction of the first police department of Nasr City, Cairo) was identified and apprehended. Upon confrontation, he admitted to filming the mentioned video and deriving that information from artificial intelligence applications without verifying the authenticity of the content, and he published it on his social media page to increase viewership and generate financial profits.
The Egyptian law does not differentiate between traditional digital acts and new ones that involve artificial intelligence; rather, it punishes the legal impact of the crime, whether it is fabrication or harmful publishing, regardless of the technological means used.
