Jordan Central Bank Issuance of Bonds and Treasury Bills Worth 200 Million Dinar

Khaberni - The Jordan Central Bank, on behalf of the government, issued on Tuesday two treasury bond issues worth 100 million dinar each.

Similarly, the Jordan Central Bank, on behalf of the government, issued treasury bills worth 100 million dinar.

According to bank data reviewed by "Al-Mamlaka", the maturity date for the current issue is April 15, 2036, while the bank indicated that the settlement date is April 15, 2026. The maturity date for the treasury bills is April 15, 2027.

Treasury bonds are long-term financing tools with maturities ranging from two to twenty years, varying between government/treasury bonds and bonds issued by corporations.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for periods ranging from 3 to 12 months and are characterized as low-risk financial instruments that are traded in financial markets through buying and selling.
