Launch of the First Phase of the World Cup Qualifiers for Electronic Games on Tuesday

Khaberni - The competitions for the first phase of the World Cup qualifiers for electronic games begin on Tuesday, with the participation of the national team in three games: eFootball Console, eFootball Mobile, and Rocket League.

The national team will participate in the eFootball Console competitions from April 14 to 16, facing the teams of Lebanon, Bahrain, Oman, and Tajikistan.

In the eFootball Mobile competitions, the first phase will start from May 5 to 7, where the team will face the teams of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Afghanistan.

The team will also participate in the Rocket League competitions, where the first phase will be held from April 28 to 30, facing the teams of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and Uzbekistan.

The qualifiers will be held over three stages, with the competitions continuing through the second phase during May and June, to be concluded by the third phase in June and July.

The Jordan Football Association, in collaboration with the Jordan eSports Federation, established the Jordanian eFootball team after a series of actions taken by the federation, including workshops and collaborations with the international federation "FIFA" and the Asian federation. The team participated in the first edition of the Electronic Asia Cup held on the sidelines of the 2023 continental tournament in Doha and the fifth West Asia championship in 2024 in Amman. It also participated in the FIFAe World Cup finals 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
